The swanky new Dubai Opera is hosting its first rock concert on October 7 with English singer-songwriter James Morrison. The striking new venue officially opened on August 31 with a sold-out performance by Spanish tenor Placido Domingo.
The 32-year-old Morrison, whose debut 2006 single You Give Me Something brought him global fame, released his fourth album, Higher Than Here, last year. He last performed here at the 2012 Dubai International Jazz Festival.
Tickets are scheduled to on sale after Eid Al Adha but fans can sign up on the Dubai Opera website www.dubaiopera.com from Thursday, September 8.
